Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cardiac Surgery requiring Cardiopulmonary Bypass.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiac Surgery not requiring Cardiopulmonary Bypass, patients aged less than 1 month, patients aged more than 18 years, patients requiring preoperative ventilatory support, preterm children, syndromic baby, patients having preoperative deranged Liver and Kidney function test.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the Oxygenation Index at various time points.Timepoint: It will be assessed immediately in the Postoperative period as Baseline followed by at 6 hour,12 hour, 24 hour and 48 hour postoperatively.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Ventilation duration & positive Endotracheal tube culture.Timepoint: 24 hour postoperative period.
