Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: primary hypertension (SBP =140 mmHg or DBP =90 mmHg) Stable medication regimen for hypertension for at least 3 months Sedentary or lightly active (less than 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week) Ability to perform static stretching and foam roller exercises with minimal assistance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Secondary hypertension (e.g., renal disease, adrenal disorders) Diabetes Cardiovascular disease (e.g., heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias) Musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., muscle tears, tendonitis, osteoporosis)
