Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants who know Kannada and English, have age between 18 to 75 years and have a history of diabetes mellitus diagnosed by a physician and confirmed by either HbA1c greater than or equal to 6.5% or uses hypoglycemic agents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with potential causes of neuropathy such as hereditary sensory neuropathy, vitamin B12 or folate deficiencies, autoimmune diseases, uremia, hypothyroidism, prolonged phenytoin use, consumption of immunosuppressive drugs and ethanol, presence of other neurological disorders affecting the sensory and motor systems such as stroke or gestational diabetes or chronic renal failure
