Interventions

Intervention1: Rhythmic stabilization, A type PNF proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitations technique applied on Down syndrome children on trunk pelvis and lower limb.: 40 minutes per session (3 sess
between the exercises, 10 seconds of relaxation will be given. 30 seconds of relaxation will be given between the pelvis and lower limb exercise.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects i.e. children with diagnosed cases of Down syndrome, both male and female will be taken. 2. Children between 4-10 years of age, 3. Ability to walk 10 meters with or without an assistive device and/or ankle foot orthosis (AFO), 4. Consent from parents for the study and video recording, 5. Ability to follow the researchers’ and guardians’ instructions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe and profound Intellectual disability in Down syndrome children i.e. IQ less than 36. (Right of the Person with Disability act., 2. Severe and profound Vision or hearing impairment, 3. A major history of disease or surgery or Recent history of any trauma which can hinder mobility and walking, 4. Any musculoskeletal condition hinders mobility and walking (eg: fracture, soft tissue injury), 5. Significant medical or surgical co-morbidities which hinder walking, 6. Uncontrolled seizures disorder and Uncooperative patients
