Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Individuals of either gender in the age group of 20 to 40 years shall be selected as the youngest generation in the study. • Participants willing to provide written informed consent. • Malayalam speaking natives of Kerala who have not changed the city since past 5 years. • Individuals who are identified as Dominant prakriti (Vata Pradhan Prakriti, Pitta Pradhan Prakriti and Kapha Pradhan Prakriti) as per Ayur Prakriti web portal of CCRAS.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Mentally challenged persons. • Those who are unable to memorize the past.

MeasureTime frame
1.Identification of Inheritance pattern and disease predisposition in dominant prakriti individuals.Timepoint: Baseline. Blood sample will be collected only once from the study participants at a single point of time for the genetic and epigenetic study as per the convenience of the study participants.

1. Establishment of Genetic and Epigenetic basis of dominant Prakriti types individuals in relation to inheritance pattern 2. Establishment of Genetic and epigenetic basis for prakriti phenotypes in relation to disease predisposition 3. Establishment of Association of Nanatmaja vyadhis with dominant prakriti types. Timepoint: second and third year
