Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Individual having clinical sign and symptoms of Shushka Arsh according to Ayurvedic classics. 2. Arsh pertaining to ano-rectal region only where pain is present. 3. Pile mass palpated/ seen by P/R examination. 4. Individuals who will given written consent for study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient below age of 16 years and above age of 60 years. 2. Pregnancy. 3. Liver Cirrhosis, portal hypertension. 4.Tuberculosis/Diabetes/Systemic disease. 5. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease, Condyloma’s. 6. Polyp, Injury to the rectum. 7.Bleeding pile mass and any bleeding disorders.

MeasureTime frame
Per rectal examination-tenderness swelling sphincter tone i.e., normal, spasmodic or relaxed etc. will be examined.Timepoint: One Month
