Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects having Class I bimaxillary dentoalveolar protrusion malocclusion or Class II div 1 malocclusion with normodivergent growth pattern (FMA 20°- 28°), minimum spacing (2-5mm) or crowding in maxillary and mandibular arches, and require either all 1st premolars extraction or only upper 1st premolars extraction for the correction of their malocclusions. Presence of full complement of teeth except 3rd molars.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of complete or incomplete comprehensive orthodontic treatment Subject who fails to maintain proper oral hygiene all through the orthodontic treatment Subjects with pregnancy Subjects having any known syndrome or metabolic disorder affecting calcium and phosphate metabolism Subjects on long-term medication like NSAID’S or steroids Lack of manual dexterity Any medications for systemic illness
