Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective/emergency ERCP procedure under sedation Age between 18-65 years ASA grades I-III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients refusing to participate in the study known allergy to any drug used in this study, heart rate of fewer than 50 beats/min, treated with beta-blockers, patient in shock oxygen saturation measured by pulse oximetry (SpO2) less than 90%, left ventricular ejection fraction of less than 50%, kidney or hepatic insufficiency. second- or third-degree heart block, body mass index (BMI) over 36 kg/m2 and

To compare the sedation efficacy of intravenous (IV) dexmedetomidine versus nebulized dexmedetomidine in combination with standard propofol-fentanyl-midazolam for procedural sedation during ERCP. Timepoint: The oucome will be assessed at baseline just after the procedure

Assess the safety profile of IV dexmedetomidine versus nebulized dexmedetomidine when administered alongside standard sedation agents. Evaluate patient satisfaction levels with sedation methods involving IV dexmedetomidine and nebulized dexmedetomidine during ERCP procedures. Compare the hemodynamic stability of patients receiving IV dexmedetomidine versus nebulized dexmedetomidine during ERCP sedation.. Timepoint: at the end of surgery
