Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Children Between 1 TO 5 Years Of Age With Acute Diarrhea . Children Who Fulfilled The Eligibility Criteria AND Whose Parents OR Legal Guardians Provided Written Informed Consent Were Randomized To Receive Either Racecadotril Or Identical Placebo.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: children with weight less than 5 kg , with severe co existing diseases , including pneumonia , meningitis or severe ,malnutrition
