Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The patients diagnosed with Asthma after spirometry analyses (FEV1). 2. Increased sputum 3. Increased Eosinophils 4. Increased breathlessness 5. Aged between 20-60 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The Subjects who are unwilling to give the blood sample. 2. Severe illness, e.g: suspected pneumonia or pulmonary embolism or lung cancer and mentally ill people; necessity for emergency admission to hospital 3. Patient is on a maintenance dose of antibiotics for treatment of asthma. 4. Known or suspected pregnancy 5. Currently breast-feeding 6. Chronic kidney disease stage 4 or 5 7. Severe liver disease 8. Previously recruited into another drug trial within the last 6 weeks
