Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing sodium abnormalities/ on treatment before admission. 2. Patients with inotropes or vasopressor 3. Patients with end-stage renal disease or on dialysis. 4. Patients with chronic liver disease. 5. Patients with congestive heart failure, and cardiac pathology. 6. Patients with raised ICP
