Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Operational Definition of Healthy Adults: Healthy adults will be defined as individuals with no local or systemic conditions affecting the knee joint. Inclusion criteria 1) Patients over 40 years of age presenting to the orthopedic OPD, with no apparent knee-related disease, referred by the orthopedic surgeon of either gender will be included in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria 1) Individuals with a history of knee injuries, surgeries, or musculoskeletal disorders affecting the knee joint, and those with inflammatory joint pathologies will be excluded. 2) Individuals with contraindications to ultrasonography, such as an allergy to ultrasound gel or any condition preventing the safe conduct of the procedure. 3) Individuals currently using medications known to affect cartilage health (e.g., corticosteroids). 4) Pregnant women, due to potential variations in cartilage morphology associated with pregnancy.
