Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients having mandagni and having three or more following conditions present for enrollment (According to the NCEP ATP III definition, metabolic syndrome is present if three or more of the following five criteria are met): 1.waist circumference over 35 inches (men) or 31.5 inches (women), 2.blood pressure over 130/85 mmHg, 3.fasting triglyceride (TG) level over 150 mg/dl, 4.fasting high-density lipoprotein (HDL) 5.cholesterol level less than 40 mg/dl (men) or 50 mg/dl (women) fasting blood sugar over 100 mg/dl.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals having Tikshna, vishama or samagni. Uncontrolled Hypertension & Hyperglycemia. Currently pregnant or post-partum state or lactating women. Cancer patients Cardiac Abnormalities (Cardiac Arrythmia, Congenital Heart Disease, Coronary Heart Disease, Heart Failure etc.) Any surgical intervention in the past 6 months
