Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy male and female athletes and sedentary population. Non-smokers, non-alcoholics and have no known diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants undergoing any medication or suffered from cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic diseases, neurological disorders, recent history of surgery, or any other illness that could affect the functioning of the nervous or cardiovascular systems, have hypertension, migraine will be excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Cardiorespiratory parameters (HR, VO2, VCO2, METS, VE, Rf etc.), cardiac autonomic function (RMSSD, SDNN, RR interval, pNN50, LF power, HF power, etc.) will be assessed using breath-by-breath metabolic gas analyzer (Cosmed Quark CPET, Germany) and heart rate belt. Neuro-cognitive functions will be assessed using a battery of standardized cognitive tests, including tests for memory, attention, executive function, and processing speed.Timepoint: Baseline, after 30 minutes, after 1 hour, and after 2 hours
