Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18- 60 years irrespective of any Gender, Caste, Religion and Socio- economic status. 2. Patients who are recently diagnosed and known case of Hypothyroidism on active medication. 3. Patients having sign and symptoms of hypothyroidism a) Sthira galpradesh Shwayathu (Neck Swelling anteriorly on thyroid gland) b) Mukha Shotha (Puffiness of face) c) Ruja ( Pain at the site of swelling) d) Daurbhalya or Aalasya (Lethargy and weakness) e) Khalitya (Hair loss) f) Shramashwasa (Dyspnea) g) Asraddha and Aruchi (loss of appetite) h) Tvaka rukshta (Dry/ Coarse skin) I) Sarvang graha ( Muscle stiffness) j) Gadgadvakta ( Hoarseness of voice) k) Bharvrudhi ( Weight gain) l) Irregular Menstrual Cycle I.e. interval between two cycles in females 4. Serum T3 and T4 below or normal range and Serum TSH level above the normal range.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below 18 years and above 60 years of age. 2. Patient having known case of Hyperthyroidism. 3. If patients undergone any type of thyroid surgery. 4. Patients suffering from any Systemic diseases like Cardiac problems, HIV, Koch’s Disease, COPD, Diabeties and Carcinoma etc. 5. Congenital Hypothyroidism 6. Patient having myxoedema coma (Complication of long standing untreated Hypothyroidism). 7. Pregnant and Lactating Mothers.

In present clinical trial, the patient will be assessed based on the signs and symptoms of Kaphaj Galganda ( Hypothyroidism). A.Subjective Criteria – The parameters will be noted down before and after treatment. •Sthira Galpradesh Shwayathu (Neck Swelling anteriorly on thyroid gland) •Mukha Shotha(Puffiness of face) •Ruja ( Pain at the site of swelling) •Daurbhalya or Aalasya (Lethargy and weakness) •Khalitya (Hair loss and Alopecia) •Shramashwasa (Dyspnea) •Asraddha and Aruchi (loss of appetite) •Tvaka Rukshta (Dry / Coarse skin ) •Sarvang Graha (Muscle stiffness) •Gadgadvakta (Hoarseness of voice) •Bharvrudhi (Weight gain) •Irregular Menstrual cycle I.e. interval between two cycles in females.
