Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (18-75 years old) undergoing micro laryngeal surgeries (vocal cord polyp excision, biopsies, etc) under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA PS grade 3 and 4. Morbidly obese patients. Patients with pre existing vocal cord palsies. Patients with a pre operative heart rate less than 60 bpm. Patients planned for awake intubation. Pregnant women or lactating mothers.
