Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade 1 and 2, patient undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy with normal coagulation profile.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: known drug allergy, acute cholecystitis, patient refusal, bleeding diathesis, infection at the site

To compare the efficacy of isobaric levobupivacaine vs. heavy bupivacaine in thoracic spinal anaesthesia for laparoscopic cholecystectomies in relation to onset, duration and time to reach peak of sensory and motor block.Timepoint: Till the drug effect is over.

To observe the haemodynamic variables & any side effect & complication related to technique & drug.Timepoint: For 24 hours
