Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronic Liver Disease, age more than 18 years will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis Portal vein thrombosis Emergency, trauma, and post-operative patients Patients nephrotoxic drug intake Patients with malignant diseases, nephropathies Known pre-existing CKD due to other causes Patients with pathomorphological findings in ultrasound including decreased kidney size, reduction of renal parenchymal width, and significant renal parenchymal hyper echogenicity. Patients unwilling to cooperate in the study
