Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient with hearing loss from 31 to 65 years of age with a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus Patient with normal middle ear function
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient below 30 years of age Patient above 65 years of age Patient with type 1 diabetes mellitus Patient with conductive, mixed hearing loss Patient with abnormal middle ear functions

| In this study, sample size of 125 patients aged 31 to 65 who visit the ENT outpatient department with complaints of reduced hearing will be assessed for elevated blood sugar levels.
