Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed cases of primary hypothyroidism on the basis of Serum TSH,T3,T4 levels with or without thyroxin. 2.Patient taking thyroxine of same dosage for more than 3 months but not showing positive response. 3.Subjects 18 to 45 years of either sex. 4.Patients serum TSH level 4.9 to 9.9 IU/L 5.Ability to provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Serum TSH less than 4.9 or more than 9.9 IU/L 2.Thyroidectomy 3.Radiation Therapy to neck area 4.Radiactive iodine treatment 5.Pregnant and lactating women 6.Diagnosed patients suffering with any other chronic systemic disease eg cardiac problem,DM,hypertension,TB, etc 7.Secondary hypothyroidism,tertiary hypothyroidism 8.Patient suffering from gross deviation of nasal septum, nasal tumours, adenoidal hyperplasia, asthma, bronchitis,etc 9.Any anatomical nasal deformities

1.The study will provide the information about improvement on thyroid profile in primary hypothyroidism due to Jalaneti, Kapalbhati and Vanhisaar. 2.The study will also provide information about effect of above mentioned yogic practices on symptoms and quality of life in patients with hypothyroidism.Timepoint: 45 days
