Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Subjects complaining of classical symptoms of Asthikshaya- Asthishoola,Sandhishoola, Keshapatana, Dantavikara,Nakhavikara and Osteoporosis-Backpain,Jointpain will be included. 2)Subjects between the age group of 40-70years of either sex. 3)Subjects of Osteopenia and Osteoporosis diagnosed by Bone Mineral Density test. 4)Subjects with BMD score below -1(minus). 5)Subjects fit for Basti Karma.(scheduled treatment protocol).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Subjects associated with Hypertension, Diabetic mellitus and other systemic disorders. 2)Subjects associated with Secondary Osteoporosis. 3)Pregnant women and lactating women. 4)Subjects with one or more fragility fracture.
