Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| ?To measure the cricoid and sub cricoid transverse diameter of trachea by ultrasonography to determine the extent of correct prediction of endotracheal tube size in pediatric population. ?Additionally, to compare the ultrasonographic estimation of endotracheal tube size with conventional age based formula to predict the correct size of endotracheal tube in pediatric population..Timepoint: Data will be collected at base line. Immediately after achieving complete muscle relaxation after induction of anaesthesia the tracheal diameter at two different levels will be recorded. later on the recorded data will be compared with the actual fit endotracheal tube which is used by age based formula. | — |
