Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with fresh complaints of Depression of not more than 1 year. Patients with BDNF value lesser than 15 ng/ml HDRS score ranging from 8-24 i.e. patients having depression of mild to moderate category. PSS score ranging from 0-26 i.e. patients having low to moderate stress level. Patients willing to participate in the study Patients who has not taken any antidepressants since last 1 month and having no withdrawal symptoms. Patients indicated and fit for shirodhara

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having chronic Depression and dependent on antidepressant drugs. Patients with alcohol dependency or drug dependency Patients who have undergone recent eye surgery Associated with any uncontrolled systemic disorders like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction. Patients having acute fever or infections Pregnant and lactating mothers.
