Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All ASA I and II patients, aged 18-65 years, scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of pulmonary disease like COPD, asthma, pregnancy, morbid obesity, unconotrolled diabetes mellitus, impaired kidney or liver function, anticipated difficult airway.
