Intervention1: Doxycycline Suture: Plain silk sutures applied with doxycycline to be used to approximate tissue after periodontal flap surgery. Intervention2: Triclosan Suture: Commercially available

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients free from any systemic disease like diabetes and hypertension. No contraindication for periodontal surgery. Periodontal pocket depth more than 5mm after re-evaluation of phase I therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient who require bone grafts or any regenerative material. Consumption of tobacco in any form. Patient taking medication which can affect the outcome of periodontal therapy. Patients who are unable to maintain oral hygiene.
