Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gestation of a single fetus with gestational diabetes mellitus in the second or third trimester but less than 34 weeks of gestation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Medical conditions affecting growth of child other than gestational diabetes mellitus- a) hypertension b) vascular disease c) drugs c) intrauterine growth retardation 2) Use of alcohol, tobacco or illicit drugs during pregnancy.
