Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects aged between 16-60 years of either sex. Subjects having classical signs and symptoms of Ardhavabhedaka. Unilateral throbbing/ Pulsating pain, paroxysmal associated with/ without nausea, vomiting, photophobia/ phonophobia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other types of Shirashoola such as Anantavata, suryavartha, pittaja shirashoola, Kaphaja Shirashoola, will be excluded. Referred pain in one half of the head due to disorders of eye, ear, nose, throat, teeth will be excluded. Patients having a history of severe head injury will be excluded. History of systemic disorders which interfere with the course of the treatment will be excluded. Known complaints of psychological disorders will be excluded.
