Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having signs and symptoms of Vataja Shirahshoola (Episodic TTH) will be included i.e. 1. headache having atleast 2 of the 4 characteristics (i) bilateral (ii)pressing or tightening headache (iii) mild to moderate intensity (iv) not aggravated by routine physical activity 2. lasting for 30 minutes to 7 days 3. Not accompanied with nausea/vomiting 4. No more than one of photophobia or phonophobia 5. Atleast 10 episodes of headache per month

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and Lactating Women 2.Patients suffering from major systemic disease viz. TB, Cancer, Diabetes, heart disease, Hypertension etc. 3. Headache due to refractive error and increased intra-ocular pressure. 4. Secondary headache due to other pathological conditions eg. Tumours, cerebral Haemorrhagic Conditions. 5. Headache secondary to head trauma. 6.Nasya ayogya patients as per classical text will be excluded.
