Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient willing to provide informed consent. Patients undergoing caesarean section surgery under spinal anaesthesia. Age 18years- 40 years. American socicty of anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status 2
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient not willing to provide informed consent. Preoperative temperature more than 38 C or less than 36 C Body mass index (BMI) more than 40 kg/m2. Patients who are on drugs that could affect thermoregulation (antidepressants, antipsychotics, antihistamines, diuretics etc). Pre-existing peripheral vascular disease, autonomic dysfunction, psychiatric illness, chronic pain disorder, hemodynamically unstable patients.
