Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients having textual symptoms of shotha with special reference to Janusandhishotha like sandhi-utsedha (shotha), sandhi-gaurawa, ushna-sparsha, siratanutwa, vaivarnya, aginimandya, sandhishul will be taken as a subject. 2. Patients of either sex aged between30-70years. 3. Patient who will give written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known case of Psoriatic Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Tuberculosis of bone and other serious systemic disorder. 2. Cardiac diseases 3. Phiranga,Upadansha 4. Pregnancy 5. Carcinoma 6. Fracture and trauma of knee joint. 7. Direct and indirect infection of knee joint . 8. History of any surgical procedure of knee joint. 9. Any anatomical deformity. 10.Autoimmune diseases like Ankylosing spondylitis 11.Having severe crippling deformity.
