Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of annuloplasty ring size predicted by 2D TEE and RT 3D TEE with the actual annuloplasty ring size determined surgically.Timepoint: Baseline Intraoperative period

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Accuracy of 2D TEE versus RT 3D TEE in measuring key mitral valve parameters (AML length, inter-commissural distance, A2 height,Derived ITD i.e. Aortic annulus dimension divided by 0.8,P1 & P2 heights,Intercommissural distance (IC distance),A2 height/IC distance ratio,Mitral annulus AP diameter,Leaflets & segments affected by the degenerative process)Timepoint: Baseline Intra operative period;Influence of accurate ring size prediction on short-term postoperative outcomes (Residual MR).Timepoint: Immediate postoperative period;Difference in IC distance and AML area measurements between 2D TEE and RT 3D TEE.Timepoint: Intra operative period
