Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients irrespective of Gender and religion from the age group of 20 to 60 years. 2. Patients Patients with signs and symptoms of Bhagandhara. 3. Patients who are diagnosed as Fistula-in-ano.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Concomitant Ano-rectal conditions like ulcerative colitis, malignancy, Crohn’s disease, multiple fistulae. 2. Pregnancy. 3. Tuberculosis. 4. Obstructive Uropathies. • Systemic diseases like CAD, Portal hypertension. • Patients with controlled blood sugars.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Accessing the pain, discharge, itching, unit cutting time and tenderness for every week until cut open of a track. The efficacy is calculated by comparing the both subjecive and objective parameters of both ksharasutras each other. Timepoint: Once a week, following the replacement of an existing ksharasutra, until the entire track is cut open.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Complete healing time, reoccurrences & any other complications like incontinency, discharge, etc.Timepoint: After the entire track is cut open, follow up with a patient for 2 months with an interval of 15 days.
