Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient aged 18–60 years of either gender, ASA grade 1 & 2, have adequate language skills for the counselling and can provide informed consent in patients undergoing first-time elective spine surgery under general anaesthesia will be included in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient is not willing to participate in this study. 2. Patients undergoing major surgeries require post-operative intensive care. 3. Patients with cognitive impairments. 4. history of other comorbidities, such as cardiac, lung, liver, or kidney disease. 5. Patients on Anti-anxiety Medication.
