Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Female patients in the age group 15-35 yrs. 2. Patients complying for regular follow-ups. 3. Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria. 4. Patients opting for homoeopathic treatment for their complaints.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having severe set of symptoms and diagnosed with PMDD. 2. Patients who require emergency medical treatment. 3. Patients undertaking any other mode of treatment along with homoeopathic mode of treatment for relief of premenstrual symptoms. 4. Pregnant and lactating women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To estimate the effectiveness of Homoeopathic medicines with constitutional and keynote prescription in the treatment and management of Premenstrual Syndrome.Timepoint: 6 months with follow up in every 15-28 days for each patient.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the overall effect of the treatment and its impact on the daily life of females suffering from premenstrual syndrome.Timepoint: The study duration will be 18 months.
