Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the rates to ROSC (return of spontaneous circulation) in patients receiving zero PEEP versus PEEP (5cm H2O) during CPR in cardiac arrestTimepoint: at achievement of ROSC or at maximum 40mins of CPR

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To compare the PCo2 clearance Timepoint: At achievement of ROSC or 40minutes;2.Ventilation related complicationTimepoint: During the course of CPR;3.24 hour survival ratesTimepoint: At 24 hours ( if applicable);Neurological outcomesTimepoint: At discharge
