Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Primary mandibular teeth with carious lesion approximating pulp • No clinical or radiographic evidence of pulp degeneration • Restorable teeth • No physiological resorption of more than one third of the root

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • History of spontaneous pain • Presence of systemic pathology • History of allergy to latex, local anesthesia, constituents of pulp dressing agents • Profuse bleeding after amputation of coronal pulp • Presence of pathologic mobility • Presence of gingival pathology
