Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Corneal edema involving more than one third of corneal surface area on post cataract surgery day1

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated cataract surgery (vitreous loss, DM detachment requiring descemetopexy, nucleus drop, wound leak, iris prolapse, iris injury, etc) 2. Pre-existing corneal pathology, glaucoma or anterior uveitis 3. Very severe corneal edema (white cornea) 4. IOP less than 6 mmHg 5. Subjects who are pregnant, breast-feeding, or expecting pregnancy

MeasureTime frame
Number of days to resolution of corneal edema and visual recoveryTimepoint: Follow-up will be done on a weekly basis until resolution of corneal edema and visual recovery, for a maximum of 6 weeks.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
post-op hypotony and/or honeycomb-like reticular epithelial corneal edema Timepoint: Every week till occurrence of hypotony and/or onset of honeycomb-like reticular epithelial corneal edema for a maximum of 6 weeks
