Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| During Cataract surgery, repeat hydrodissection aids in reducing the amount of time required for cortex aspiration.Timepoint: The time point will be measured intraoperatively i.e.time required (in seconds) for cortex aspiration. This will be calculated by the difference between the time consumed until cortex aspiration and the time consumed until phacoemulsification. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The amount of fluid required for cortex removal can be decreased by performing repeat hydrodissection.Timepoint: The time point will be measured intraoperatively i.e. volume of fluid (in cc)consumed for cortex aspiration. This will be calculated by the difference between the volume of fluid consumed until cortex aspiration & the volume of fluid consumed until phacoemulsification. | — |
