Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients from the age group of 10–40 years 2 Patients having fever (less than 100-degree Fahrenheit), sore throat, chronic irritation in throat with cough, bad taste in mouth, halitosis, thick speech, difficulty in swallowing will be included for the present clinical trial. 3 Selection will be irrespective of Gender, religion & socio-economic class.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients who is not willing for the trial. 2 Patients having any uncontrolled systemic disorder will be excluded. 3 Fever more than 100-degree Fahrenheit will be excluded

Signs of tonsilitis at the end of 8th day will be assessed depending on the assessment criteria. Symptoms of tonsilitis will be assessed with subjective criteria like Difficulty in swallowing, Redness, Edema, Cough, Fever, Throat painTimepoint: 8th day, 14th day

MeasureTime frame
To study the disease tonsilitis in detail according to Modern science. To study the effect of patoladi kashay kavala with its properties in detail along with the probable mode of action. To compare the effect of Modified form of Patoladi Kashay kavala & Madhu Hareetaki in the management of Tundikeri in comparison with Conventional method of Patoladi Kashaya kavala & Madhu Hareetaki along with Amruthotharam kashayam (for systemic relief) in the management of galashundika.Timepoint: 8th day & 14th day
