Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. CDOA (both males and females) aged 60 years and above residing independently at their residence or in non-institutionalized settings. 2. Able to read and understand English and able to fill the questionnaire on their own or with assistance. 3. Participants with the cognitive capacity to understand and answer the self-reported questionnaire (Community Dwelling Older Adults with MoCA scores greater than 26 will be included in the study).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals suffering from co-morbid conditions such as stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, cerebral palsy, respiratory illnesses and psychological issues during the time of data collection. 2. Individuals participated in dysphagia awareness programs or interventions. 3. Individuals currently undergoing active medical interventions for dysphagia.
