Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients willing to give informed written consent 2.Patients scheduled for elective Renal surgery under general anaesthesia 3.patients of either sex 4.age 18-60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients should not be a part of other study 2.Non co-operative patients 3.patients with spinal deformity such as kyphoscoliosis 4.localised infection at the proposed site of injection 5.patients with history of difficult central neuraxial block in past 6.Coagulation abnormalities 7.Pregnant patients 8.Known allergy to local anaesthetics
