Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All non-traumatic bulbar urethral stricture male patients aged more than 18 years and above with no previous history of urethroplasty admitted in Department of Urology in Kasturba Medical college Manipal willing to undergo Urethroplasty and Visual Internal Urethrotomy .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who undergo staged urethroplasty . 2)Recurrent non traumatic bulbar urethral stricture urethral patients following urethroplasty in the past.

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of modified PROM(Jackson et al; ) and modified PREM questionnaire (Jenkinson et al;) with clinical outcomes using quality of health via visual analogue quality of life health scale following urethroplasty and VIU in non traumatic bulbar urethral stricture patientsTimepoint: Baseline data -preoperatively Postoperatively on Day 1, 3monthS, 6months ,12 months respectively.

MeasureTime frame
Stricture free outcome for Urethroplasty & Visual internal urethrotomy will be assessed by uroflowmetry & cystourethroscopy in patients reporting worst health outcomes .Timepoint: Baseline data -preoperatively Postoperatively on Day 1, 3monthS, 6months ,12 months respectively.
