Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who will give written informed consent. Patients with silicone oil infusion operated for vitreo - retinal pathologies. Patients who develop cataract after silicone oil infusion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Pre-operative & intra-operative complication preventing IOL placement in capsular bag. Patients with axial length not reliably calculated by IOL master & intra-operative biometry. Patients with previous refractive surgery. Patients with previous keratoplasty. Patients with corneal opacities

MeasureTime frame
To measure axial length by IOL Master (preoperatively) and Immersion A-scan biometry (intraoperatively) after silicone oil removal.Timepoint: To measure axial length by IOL Master (preoperatively) and Immersion A-scan biometry (intraoperatively) after silicone oil removal and spherical equivalent is calculated at 6 weeks

To find out spherical equivalent. To evaluate and compare the accuracy of both Intraoperative A Scan and preoperative IOL Master. To access visual acuity after phacoemulsification and silicone oil removal. Timepoint: 6 weeks postoperative
