Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age -25 to 70 2. Individuals with the constipation scoring more than 10 are considered 3.Patients who fulfil at 2 major criteria and one minor criteria of udavarta are considered 4.complaining of difficulty or incomplete bowel evacuation 5.irregular stool habit 6. patients satisfying the criteria of constipation & Udavarta 7. Patients willing to sign the consent form 8. Patients not responding to routine purgatives.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Acute bleeding fissure in ano 2.Grade – 4 hemorrhoids 3. intestinal obstruction 4.known cases of rectal carcinomas 5.IBDS
