Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing hip surgery belonging to 1 . ASA Physical Status 1 and 2 2. BMI less than 30 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with fixed spinal deformities 2. Pregnancy 3. Clinically suggestive of neurological and neuromuscular disorders 4. Patients with any known allergy to local anaesthetic drugs 5. Localised sepsis 6. Coagulopathy 7. Patients on oral anticoagulants
