Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Neonates having full consent from parents, gestational age of 28-34 weeks, (APGAR) score at birth =6, stable physiological indices (heart rate, respiratory rate, SpO2, body temperature, capillary blood glucose), able to tolerate gavage feeding, having at least two days of hospitalization was included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Neonates with lack of consent, development of intraventricular hemorrhage, development of necrotizing enterocolitis, congenital malformations, having convulsions, feed intolerance, unstable vital signs, on mechanical ventilation or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) was excluded.
