Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consenting adults age more than or equal to 18 years undergoing wound open hemorrhoidectomy for grade 3/4 internal hemorrhoids

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Bleeding diathesis 2. Concomitant perianal disease 3. IBD

To compare between the groups, postoperative pain during first defecation. Timepoint: At first defecation during postoperative period
