Intervention1: oral carbohydrate solution is given 2 hours before surgery in cases of lower limb surgery under neuraxial anesthesia: water is given 2 hours before surgery in cases of lower limb surger

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 65years 2. Physical status ASA I-III. 3. The anticipated duration of surgery is 1 to 3 hours. 4. BMI 19-35kg/m²
