Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Children aged between 6 to 7 years 2 Both the genders 3 Participants with normal hearing 4 Children exposed to average passive screen time Group 1 - Average passive screen time more than an hour Group 2 - Average passive screen time less than an hour

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Individuals with otological and other neural problems 2 Individuals with syndromic conditions 3 Individuals with hearing loss 4 Individuals with childhood developmental disorders that influence language development like Austim, cerebral Palsy, Specific Language Impairment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The hearing screening will be noted as pass or fail. Average Screen Time will be calculated in hours. MC-HOME inventory will be measured in scores. RAN-RAS test will provide measures in raw score. Dichotic Digit Test outcome measures will be obtained in percentage scores. Audio-visual integration test provides outcome measures in percentage score (%). Timepoint: The study outcomes will be assessed at a single time point since its a observational study
