Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: full permanent dentition from molar to molar with class I bidental protrusion or class II div 1 malocclusion requiring bilateral first premolar extraction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with platelet count less than 150000 per microliter blood, those on antiplatelet therapies,or having thrombocytopenic blood dyscrasias. patients on regular antibiotics or anti inflammatory drugs, patients suffered from recent major illnesses with reduced platelet count or those with metabolic bone disorders. non compliant patients and those with negative informed consent.
